"In a year where dance music continues its revival, "We Can Go All Night" stands out for its regional swagger—Montana's answer to the global party pulse. It's the kind of song that turns a Thursday night into a weekend, perfect for road-trip playlists, pre-show hype, or those 3 a.m. moments when you're still going strong. If you're into Dua Lipa’s disco revival era, Jessie Ware's dance cuts, or anything that bridges '70s glitter with '00s indie-dance, Desperate Electric's latest will light you up. This isn't just a single; it's the anthem for their current run, and hearing it live (with the duo's infectious energy) is bound to be explosive."

“Wildfire” brings their usual mix of retro grooves and modern soul-pop, but it’s dialed in tighter than ever. The vocals come across honest and raw, especially against the slick synth work and dance-ready rhythm underneath, and Kayti’s harmonies add that extra layer of shine that makes the track pop without trying too hard. It starts off easy to sink into, and before you know it, you’re fully locked in."

‘Fusing elements of funk, rock, soul, pop, and R&B, with cosmo-tronic production, they create a musical experience that’s both futuristic and nostalgic. Moving the listener to dance, think, and reflect, they peer into their mirrors’ darkest corners, openly exploring who they are, what they’ve done, who they want to be, and how they need to change, grow, or evolve to get there.’ -Matt Asaro, Blue World Blog
Kayti Korte and Ben Morris met as music majors at Montana State University. An unlikely pairing of a classically trained vocalist and a collegiate rugby player with rock-star instincts. What began as an unexpected connection quickly became a creative partnership and after graduation, Kayti joined Ben’s then-current band. Once the two began writing together, it became clear something bigger was taking shape.
In February 2018, they launched their first project, DASH, a four-piece band rooted in rock, soul, and funk. The group recorded an album and hit the road within months of forming. During a notoriously difficult 2019 tour, Ben programmed electronic drums on the fly after losing their drummer with little notice. As lineup instability began to challenge the traditional band format, Kayti and Ben pivoted, leaning into electronic production in a move that would ultimately redefine their sound. What began as a necessity became a creative breakthrough, fusing live instrumentation with electronic drums and synth-driven textures.
Out of that transformation, Desperate Electric was born, named after an EP that captured their evolving identity. The rebrand marked a clean break from the rock band model and the start of a bold new chapter as a pop-forward, power disco duo.
Since then, Desperate Electric has built a reputation as a high-energy live act. From their Montana roots, the duo has expanded nationwide, performing hundreds of shows in more than 35 states since 2019. Their touring schedule includes over 100 dates in 2025 alone, alongside sold-out headline shows, and festival appearances across the country.
Known for effortless vocal harmonies, dynamic stage presence, and a seamless blend of electronic and live elements, Desperate Electric delivers performances that are as polished as they are, well, electric.
